Offshore Marine Construction
Design Engineering and Construction
The NorCE team includes engineers with mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation and general subsea engineering expertise. All engineers have offshore experience to ensure the work is carried out to current standards and regulations, with environmental awareness and practical offshore knowledge.
The NorCE engineering team can complete design engineering for subsea installations, including but not limited to:
Spools, piping and tie ins, and subsea pipeline repairs
Pipelines, flowlines and umbilicals
Manifolds, Pipeline End Modules (PLEMs), and other subsea structures
Moorings and piles
Installation Engineering
NorCE can provide engineered solutions for the installation of all subsea and topside items within the vessels capabilities, working in conjunction with client subcontractors to develop ROV or diver-specific installation methodologies.
This can include:
lifting analysis and design and specification of lifting equipment
the installation engineering for pipelines, flowlines, and umbilicals
installation engineering for PLEMs, Manifolds, and subsea structures
installation engineering for mooring and piling works
Subsea Controls Engineering
The NorCE engineering resources include access to respected and experienced engineering management, hardware and controls engineers with many years experience in developing, fabricating, installing and commissioning subsea hardware and controls-related equipment. Projects have included flexible risers, manifolds, umbilicals, SUTAs (subsea umbilical termination assembly), SDUs (subsea distribution module), SCMs (subsea control module), and all associated interfaces with subsea trees including IWOCs in support of intervention works.
These engineers have worked on a range of international offshore projects with companies including:
Murphy Sabah Oil
BHPP
Woodside
BG India
Conoco Philips
